This is a long one (sorry) The first time I went to 26th street auto center was to check out an issue with a weird noise coming from my front driver side hub. I was immediately helped by a young gentleman, whom after I explained the issues, he called out Robert the owner. Robert asked a few questions, after which he hoped in and we took a quick ride around the block trying to listen and diagnose the issue. After a few mins, when he realized he could really pinpoint the issue - he recommended another Land Rover specialist out in the valley as he wasnt sure what the issue could be and was unfamiliar- to quote him " I dont wanna go digging around in there and costing you unnecessary money". That's the kind of integrity Robert has! needless to say, because I have a Land Rover, I ended back there not very long after that, this time with a leaking valve cover. when I spoke with Robert again, he explained every single thing in detail, making sure i understand. unfortunately, job couldn't be done because Land Rover likes to be difficult and he didnt have the special tool on hand but made sure to chage my spark plug covered oil, explain to me the possiblity of it happening again, recommend where to go and even gave me a detailed print out ao ill know exactly what is needed and not. I cannot speak highly enough of Robert and his crew. Brilliant customer service, professionalism, knowledge and remarkable ability to explain complex mechanical issues/ things in ways that the lay customer can comprehend and fully understand whay they're paying for and why. Not only will I be recommending this business to everyone i know, ill also be taking my fiance's Yaris here soon for a full service maintenance. Thank you Robert!
